I went down to Winston-Salem, NC for Myrna's surprise birthday party. For lunch the next day Myrna, Ellen and I went to a local institution: K&W Cafeteria.
Old people like to go here after church.

ReplyDeleteMy family surprised me at K&W on my 20th birthday. I cried because I was so taken by surprise and some relief that my little brother, who I'd earlier noticed hiding behind a pillar, wasn't really embarrassed of his older punk rock brother.
