IRANIAN BEES

Met Phil for dinner after group at Market Table, he'd already eaten. I think it's run by the same people that have Little Owl. It's not as crowded and not as good. But it's OK and you don't have to wait for a seat usually. I got the Branzino which was on top of some delicious escarole with carmelized fennel and raisins.

Phil took a class about bee keeping over the weekend, so he told me all about beehives. He and a beekeeper may start a beefarm? on his roof which overlooks Washington Square South. Phil said the coolest and most elaborate beehives are made by Iranian beekeepers.

Lunch was at Angelica's Kitchen. Mike D was there, he's gotten really skinny and he kind of looks like a woman.
