DRONABINOL

Scott closed Elf Cafe for the week so he came here to NY to cook for me. Danielle was his sous chef. Last night's meal was crispy maitake mushrooms and risotto with summer vegetable puree and poached sole. All very cancer-fighting foods that I'm able to digest well. Things have taken a turn for the better, my appetite has increased and I'm able to eat more food. I think it's a combination of Scott's great cooking and this cannabis-based pill I'm taking.

  3. "The Elf is in my house! He cooks in my house! The Elf is in my house!" sounds like a Fall song.

  6. Hello...I came across your blog as I was searching for pics of hospital food for my own devious purposes (read: blog). Being a food freak as well as nurse, I'm really touched by your blog and I hope the best for you. Dronabinol/Marinol is awesome but it's no miracle worker, luckily it seems you've got lots of support, love, and great cooks on your side. Take care, Mr. Dave.
