BLUE RIBBON BAKERY

This is a great combo. At Blue Ribbon Bakery they make open-faced sandwiches. I like to eat them while standing at the counter. This is my favorite: white bread with mayo, sliced hard-boiled eggs, pickled peppers, salt and pepper. You can easily make it at home too, they sell the peppers in the store.

  1. I recently had a salad at Sandwich, in Chapel Hill, that had hard-boiled eggs on the side. They were dusted with freshly toasted ground cumin seed, whole cumin seed, and coarse salt. Better than a deviled egg. You should try that shit.

  2. Again, you find a sandwich that makes me crazy hungry. Next time in NY the two of us need to hit all of your sandwich places.
