MARLOW AND DAUGHTERS

Sara and I stopped by Marlow and Daughters for some stuff to make for dinner in Oyster Bay: sausages, asaparagus, cheese. We then had lunch at Saltie. If you tried to cast this place with hip extras (cute girls with undefined ethnicities in summer dresses and guys pulling off the fake manly thing a lot better than me) you couldn't have done a better job than the crowd having lunch here yesterday. We shared the Scuttlebutt and the Clean Slate. It's served open face on nan with hummus, quinoa, radishes, cilantro and pickled rhubarb (I think). The menu is very small and now that I've tried everything, I'm ready for some seasonal specialties.
