Georgia and Ira took me to The Standard Grill for dinner. This place is nuts. It sort of feels like you're in an episode of Sex and the City. There is a team of four hosts/models to greet you. The design of the place is beautiful and so are all of the clientele and waitstaff, I felt pretty out of place. They could probably get away with serving whatever they wanted and still be packed but the food is actually good. We had oysters, meats, chicken liver royal, snap peas... and then it got too dark to take pictures: mackerel, branzino, pork, and strawberry rhubarb crumble with buttermilk ice cream. I can't wait to get the new iPhone, Laurel told me it has a flash.
