WORLD CUP FEVER, I'VE GOT IT

Also, this article below explains the wierd buzzing sound during the matches.

Today we saw the beginning of the FIFA World Cup 2010, and something that caught the attention of millions of viewers is the buzzing sound you hear throughout the games. This sound is made by a trumpet called the Vuvuzela.

The vuvuzela is a plastic horn that became widely used after the 2009 FIFA Federations Cup, and FIFA had plans to ban it because it could be used as a weapon by sick soccer fans, but perhaps the stronger cause was the possibility of having unsanctioned advertising in the horn.

To me, they should ban it because it is extremely annoying. I guess we will have to get accustomed to the annoying buzzing sound during games, If I was a player I would get even more annoyed since it is a stressing sound. What happened to traditional horns?

By the way, it always seems to sound like the beginning of “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’Roses don’t you think?
