THE RED HEAD

The Red Head is an x-girlfriend, but it's also an excellent Southern-style restaurant in the East Village. I sat alone at the bar and had the Green Goddess/Bibb Lettuce, pea, red onion salad. The lettuce had the green goddess dressing and the rest of the vegetables had more of a tangy vinaigrette, it made for a nice combo. The Grouper came with farro and a delicious ham flavored butter. Upon leaving the server handed me a chocolate chip/oatmeal cookie, my favorite. I have a hard time remaining friends with x's.
