Mac and I met at Txikto for some tapas. Knowing I don't really like corn on the cob, Mac ordered smoked anchovies with corn and greenbeans. I"d never had smoked anchovies before, they were great.
This was something we had a lot in Barcelona, here it was called silverfish (tiny fried fish) over arugula with an easy over egg underneath.
Here these are called piperrak.
We drank txakolina. It's a slightly fizzy white wine that is dramatically poured into your glass.
Mussels and white beans. It looks a little like throw up, but tasted great.
